Glenville is a little community 10 minutes northwest of downtown Greenwich, with area of approximately one to two square miles. Geographically the boundaries of Glenville begin midway up Glenville Road and run west over to Weaver Street and all points north up to the Merritt Parkway. Glenville Road, the main street, leads from downtown Greenwich at Lake Avenue Circle. Glenville has nearly 20 condominium complexes. They vary from two-unit complexes to those slightly larger units at Lyon Farm, among whose features include community pools and tennis courts. Overall there are just over 450 units, varying in size from 675 square feet for a studio/one-bedroom to 3,000 square feet for a three-to-four-bedroom. Glenville features a small community center with restaurants, shops, a food market, offices, a fire department, a community recreation center, medical offices and easy access to the Merritt Parkway via Exit #27, King Street. Downtown Greenwich, with shopping and the train station are no more than 12 minutes away from any home.
