Currently at Sotheby's International Realty Edward is a Senior Broker Associate. He actively represents sales, leasing and relocation clients across multiple market categories and segments. He has been responsible for some of the most noteworthy sales transactions in Greenwich and has assisted many top developers in the area to create the finest residential developments in the community.
Before joining the Sotheby's International Realty firm in early 2005, Mortimer served as Vice Present and Senior Sales and Leasing Agent at the Greenwich real estate office of William Pitt Real Estate. Over the ten years at the firm, Edward won numerous sales awards, including the Platinum Award the firms highest honor) in 2000, 2002 and 2003 and won the company-wide Top Producer award in 2004.
Prior to joining William Pitt Real Estate, Edward was owner and CEO of Mortimer and Mortimer Inc. Real Estate, a family real estate sales firm which he stewarded until its merger with William Pitt in 1995.
Before taking over the ownership and management of Mortimer and Mortimer Inc. Real Estate, Mortimer served as Vice President and Project Manager for Greenmont Construction Inc., a luxury development firm in Greenwich, Connecticut. Among others, he was responsible for the Indian Harbor project, a six lot luxury development in downtown Greenwich.
Professionally, Mortimer continues to be an active member of the National and Connecticut Association of Realtorsmand the Greenwich Association of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service.
He has been called upon to contribute his professional and personal talents as a former President of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, Managing Director of Greenwich's Corporate Business Council and fund-raising volunteer for the Greenwich United Way, Kids in Crisis and the Greenwich Audubon.
