The Mid-Country geographic area offers mostly one-acre and two-acre zoned properties (RA-1 and RA-2) with some closest to Putnam Avenue in half-acre zoning (R-20) or smaller. Condiminium and apartment rentals can be found in the southern sections of Mid-Country closest to East Putnam Avenue where such zoning exists. Church Street, Lafayette Place and Lafayette Court (and areas near Greenwich Hospital) feature the largest number of condominium rentals set in a handful of high-rise buildings in this section of town. Rental homes in Mid-Country's single family zoned neighborhoods rentals can fange in size from a few thousand square feet of living space to as much as more than 20,000 square feet with prices running from a few thousand dollars a month to as much as $30,000+ per month for grandeur with possibly and pool and tennis court (or other extra amenities). Mid-Country is approximately five minutes to 10 minutes from downtown, the train, shopping and the Merritt Parkway.
