The Riverside Area abuts the west side of Old Greenwich and the east side of Cos Cob. It runs north and south, beginning on the eastern shore of the Mianus River and runs north to intersects with Cos Cob, easterly to Binney Park (Old Greenwich) and the intersects of western Riverside Avenue and West End Avenue. Zoning in Riverside provides for rentals in condominium units and multi and single-family homes on denser lots in the middle and northern areas and up to one acre or more in the southern end near the waterfront. Rental properties are found across Riverside while some of the larger ones near the waterfront that feature private beach or waterfront access rights. Shopping, I-95 and the train are no more than five to 10 minutes from any Riverside home.
