Dundee Gym and Ball Fields

The Dundee Gym and Ball fields in Riverside are located at the intersection of Florence Avenue and Sunshine Avenue, behind Dundee Elementary School. The gym, with a multi-purpose basketball court, is in a separate building behind the school and is scheduled through the offices of the Parks and Recreation Department. The ball fields are located to the rear of the property and are ideal for soccer, or softball/baseball.

Havemeyer Fields and Greenwich Common
The fields and common are located on a 16-acre-plus tract in central Greenwich between Greenwich Avenue and Field Point Road, adjoining the offices of the Greenwich Board of Education (Havemeyer Building) and near the new Greenwich Town Hall. Havemeyer Field, where permits from the Parks and Recreation Department are required, features a track, baseball/softball diamond, football field and bleachers. The common is open to the public and its benches are used by people during lunch time to relax.

Eastern Greenwich Civic Center
The center is located in Old Greenwich at the intersection of Harding Road and Forest Avenue on a 14-acre-plus property. The center incorporates a basketball court, locker rooms, stage, small auditorium and two lounges/meeting rooms. Outdoors there are a regulation softball field with bleachers, two all-weather tennis courts with lighting, a soccer field, an archery range, a children's playground and picnic area.

Pemberwick Park and Yantorno Community Center
Pemberwick Park in the western section of Greenwich is situated at the intersection of Pemberwick Road and Moshier Street in Byram. The 44-acres- plus are open year-around, dawn to dusk. The recreational plot incorporates the Yantorno Community Center where the Pemberwick Community Association offers weight conditioning programs and space for private parties, a playground, a baseball diamond, tennis, basketball and bocce courts and an open playing field. The conservation areas are used for passive recreation, walking, hiking and studying nature.

Western Greenwich Civic Center
The center, a Georgian brick building with white columns and a golden-colored bell tower, occupies 10 acres at the intersection of Pemberwick Road and Glenville Road. The property contains a softball field and playground. The center has been used by scout groups, religious organizations, for continuing education, as a café and thrift shop and for indoor sports. The renovated building offers a daycare center, gym/auditorium, exercise studio and weight rooms.
