Taxis
Greenwich Taxi (203.869.6000): The only taxi stand in Greenwich
is situated at the Greenwich Train Station and operated by Greenwich
Taxi but door-to-door taxi service is also available by calling the
Greenwich Taxi dispatcher
Limousines-Shuttle
Connecticut Limo (800.472.5466): This service operates a
regular round-the-clock schedule of vans and buses from a Stamford
terminal in the parking garage of the Stamford Marriott Hotel to and
from LaGuardia, JFK and Newark.
Red Dot Airport Shuttle (800.673.3368): This service runs a
service to and from LaGuardia and JFK out of the Hyatt Regency
Greenwich, 1800 East Putnam Ave., 12 shuttles daily to each airport.
Limousines-Private
Off-duty Greenwich Police (203.622.8007): Off-duty officers of
the Greenwich Police Department and retirees also provide a personalized
chauffeured service to and from the airports using your own vehicle and
gasoline. The officers drive to your home or business, pick you up in
your car, drive to the airport and then return in your car to meet your
return flight and drive back to Greenwich. The service runs as-available
and has no official connection with the police department.

Buses
Greenwich is served by two main bus routes running across the
community, linking Port Chester, NY to the west and Stamford, CT to
the east. The service is provided by CT Transit, an agency of the
Connecticut Department of Transportation which provides mass transit
in communities statewide, either directly or by sub-contract.
Stamford to Portchester: This Greenwich bus route operates
daily and weekends and generally follows East Putnam and West Putnam
Avenues, commonly known as Route 1 or the Post Road.
Stamford to Old Greenwich: This smaller bus route operates
Mondays through Fridays and loops south into Old Greenwich, following
Sound Beach Avenue and Shore Road.
